High-fashion houses having their own line of signature fragrances is a long standing practice, but when it comes to Comme des Garons, did anyone really expect them to bottle some milquetoast, light floral scents and call it a day?
Since 1994,Comme des GaronsParfums, under the direction of Christian Astuguevieille, has produced scents imbued with the label's avant garde spirit, from the unexpected to the downright confrontational 'socially incorrect, anti-perfumes.'
The inspiration for this scented candle from Comme des Garons and Monocle comes from a perfectly still, slightly chilly spring morning spent soaking in a tub at the Tawaraya in Kyoto. It pulls together their memory of the mosses and trees outdoors and sharp notes of the boxy, hinoki tub.

The candle contains a high concentrate of fragrance and is created from the finest waxes.
